Test Anxiety
Test Anxiety is a complex combination of emotional, physical and behavioral characteristics that can occur prior to and during the test taking process. Most people feel some degree of nervousness when taking an exam. However, people who suffer from test anxiety experience extreme levels of emotional and physiological discomfort, significant enough to negatively impact test performance.

This session will utilize proven techniques to help you calm yourself both mentally and physically, establishing a positive, relaxed and confident mind set. Thereby reducing and eliminating the negative emotional and physiological responses to test taking.
Session Information
The session begins with a soothing progressive relaxation designed to put both your mind and body into a relaxed state of being.
Once you have totally relaxed and are within a comfortable state of hypnosis, you will be gently directed using guided imagery.
A process that incorporates the various steps of your test taking process, such as preparation, traveling to your destination, entering the test area and becoming comfortably relaxed throughout the completion of your test taking process.
During this process various positive visualizations, metaphorical references and hypnotic suggestions will work to help you psychologically reframe negative and unrealistic perceptions, expectations and belief patterns. Thus, reducing much of the discomfort normally associated with test taking.

As your session nears its end, you will be guided through an exercise of deep breathing and suggestive techniques that you may use on your own, following your hypnosis session.
